Early Jeep Trips on the Rubicon Trail
The Liddicoat family pioneered the use of Jeeps on the famed Rubicon trail,
predating the world famous Jeepers Jamboree by several years.
This website recounts some of those early trips.

The first trip -- 1946
"the second and third jeeps on the Rubicon Trail"

The second trip --1947
The year the steel Rubicon Bride was built

The third trip -- 1951
The year before the first official Jeepers Jamboree run

The fourth trip -- 1959
Fishing in the by now famous Rubicon Country

Four generations of Liddicoats have jeeped  the Rubicon Trail. Cousin Eddie Warner was among the first--and may have been the first--persons  to drive the Rubicon trail in a jeep. Members of the Liddicoat family have resided in Georgetown for many decades and have been involved with the Jeepers Jamboree since its inception.
